Manager, National Indigenous Youth in STEM Program
Actua has an immediate opening for full-time Manager for its National Indigenous Youth in STEM Program. Actua is a national charity that supports, delivers, and advocates for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) outreach programming for ALL Canadian youth.
As the Manager for Actua’s Indigenous Youth in STEM Program, you will work closely with the Senior Advisor to Actua’s InSTEM Program and other senior staff to manage the implementation of an annual strategic plan for the engagement of Indigenous youth in STEM. You have a background in Indigenous education and/or skills and competency development and you are comfortable in a role where you facilitate partnership development among Indigenous communities and within our network membership at universities and colleges. You are well connected within Indigenous networks and are comfortable supporting the provision of leadership and training as needed within our network. You are a also highly motivated, extremely organized, and a meticulous planner and record keeper. You are comfortable synthesizing information from a number of partners and preparing timely reports on program progress.
