Sr. Specialist, Marketing (12 month contract)


To provide analysis/strategic project planning and reporting to support EBD B2B Business.


Project Management

  • Currently the role is to coordinate and project manage an EBD pilot project for a major customer role out. The project will continue for the next 6 months at which time, the project will become a National roll out across Canada and will require a Project Manager to manage the multi-million dollar project.
  • Duties will include
    • Create and Implement Project Management best practices
    • Forecast Management
    • Warranty & Asset Management
    • Quotation Building and Management
    • Event Planning (i.e. Tradeshows)
    • Communication with all stakeholders, internal and external.


Marketing Coordination

  • Implement a Partner Portal
  • Coordinate and develop a Partner Communication Plan with all stakeholders
  • Manage the Unmanaged Marketing Program  - this program includes preparation of three weekly email blasts
    • Develop a standard template to create content.
    • Create a standard process


Partner Portal (Channel Communication)

  • Analyze and Implement Channel Portal
    • The portal will used by EBD & B2B IM to manage the Channel Incentive Programs (Mobility & EBD)
    • A database of marketing material for the channel to use during bids for Samsung product and services
    • With the implementation of, HQ will be combining the current portal & SFDC to increase revenue opportunities and communication with our customers
    • HQ Display Training Portal will be implemented and launched to Samsung partners
  • Once the portal becomes operational, the day to day operations will be transitioned to marketing



Incentive Plan Communication

  • Working with PI team and IT Operations, develop an application to communicate monthly results to the Partners
  • Develop an Incentive Program Reporting communication tool
  • Work with the Sales team to understand how to use the tool to develop "What If" scenarios. This will allow the sales team to use a tool to show partners how to enhance margins and profits


  • Project Management Certification – PMP preferred
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in business or technical subjects preferred
  • Strong Project Management Skills
  • Strong Microsoft office skills, especially with PowerPoint and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and work with all levels within the organization
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple and simultaneous related projects and programs in a changing corporate environment
  • 5 years’ experience in a technology or communication environment preferred
  • Experience in IT, Consumer Electronics and/or Telecommunication industry in project planning and managing to strict timelines
