Reporting to the Board of Directors, the next Executive Director is responsible for Opt’s strategic guidance and operational leadership. The Executive Director is responsible for planning and administering the programs and services to meet and anticipate the needs of an evolving and diverse community. The Executive Director spearheads the organization’s strategic planning process and serves as a liaison to external stakeholders and partners, while providing mentorship and guidance to staff and volunteers.
The Executive Director is an enthusiastic leader with strategic and operational leadership experience in non-profit and/or healthcare. The ideal candidate has a minimum of five to eight (5-8) years of senior management experience with ongoing professional development and training. The successful candidate brings a blend of program and service delivery experience, fund development and the ability to convey organizational values and priorities. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding communication and team building skills and will be committed to building a positive and effective organizational culture.
